- פִּזְמָא, פִּיזְ׳c. (preced.) leaping, haste. Pesik. Haḥod. p. 101b> (ref. to Ps. 18:20) ‘he released me, because he had delight in me, פ׳ דידיה היא סליקת ביה למיתן לי אוריתא (not הוא) it was his haste (anxiety) that rose in him, to give me the Law (cmp. Cant. R. to II, 8, quot. s. v. עִיבּוּר); Yalk. Ex. 272 פ׳ דידי סלקתוכ׳ (corr. acc.); Yalk. Sam. 161. Midr. Till. to Ps. 22:9 פ׳ דידיה סליק (not דידי; ed. Bub. פאמא דיליה סליק, corr. acc.) his anxiety (to save me) arose; Yalk. ib. 686 פ׳ דידי סליקי (corr. acc.).
